"On this episode we discuss the Sylvester Stallone/Robert DeNiro boxing movie Grudge Match—which is only slightly more interesting than watching two non-famous elderly people fight."

"We talk about Grudge Match, the movie that pretends DeNiro has a chance against steroidal Stallone. Meanwhile Dan discusses Kevin Hart's need to do only Kevin-branded movies, Elliott uncovers Sean Connery's strange belief he's in every movie, and one of Stu's relatives makes an unexpected appearance."

Movie Summary[]

Premise[]

A pair of aging boxing rivals are coaxed out of retirement to fight one final time, after about 30 years of retirement.

Story[]

Pittsburgh boxers Billy "The Kid" McDonnen and Henry "Razor" Sharp shared a fierce rivalry back in the 1980s. Each had scored a victory in two matches, but on the eve of their decisive third bout, Henry suddenly announced his retirement, effectively ending both boxers' careers. Thirty years later, boxing promoter Dante Slate Jr. makes Billy and Henry an offer they can't refuse: Return to the ring and settle the score once and for all.
