Premise[]

A homicide detective is pushed to the brink of his moral and physical limits as he tangles with a ferociously skilled hired killer who specializes in torture and pain.

Story[]

Alex Cross works as a detective/psychologist for the Detroit Police Department along with his lifelong friend, Tommy Kane, and detective Monica Ashe. Cross' latest case puts him on a collision course with Picasso, a cunning serial killer whose ultimate target is multinational industrialist Giles Mercier. Cross must find a way inside Picasso's head not only to catch the killer but also to stem the violent urges Cross feels.
